| | Talking to a mate at the gym and he was saying that his shake contains 2 scoops of whey, 2 scoops of ultra fine oats with 2 teaspoonsful of ground flaxseed. i was wondering about the nutricional (?) values. |

| Yes ,I think this shake makes a good meal replacement :lots of fibers ,good fats ,protein and low gi carbs .You might wanna add a little something for the taste (sweet n low ,natural peanut butter ,sugar free syrup...) . I wouldn't use it post workout though because fat and fibers slow down digestion .Plus you need high-glycemic carbs to replenish glycogen in your muscles . Personnally ,I take waxy maize starch with whey protein . |
