| Hello there fellow fitness fanatics! My name is Karen, I'm from sunny southern California. I'm 30 years old, a mere 5' tall and weigh a whopping 103 lbs. My goal is not so much as lose weight, but I would really like to drop a little body fat and gain lean muscle. I'm focusing a lot on my abs, as I'd really like them to pop out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

| | I change it up quite a bit, doing regular crunches, laying leg lifts, and hanging leg lifts. Sometimes I'll pop in PX90's Ab Ripper X and follow that routine. |

Personnally I train my abs like every other muscle ,once or twice a week with weights (ankle weights ,dumbells or machines) . I do about 15 sets (3 to 4 exercises) ,10-15 reps per set . Exercises vary from a session to another but I work my abs from every angle (upper ,lower abs and obliques) . I also try to feel my abs contract as much as possible in each set .That's why I do slow movements .I'll even reduce the weights in order to do so . Of course diet and cardio are a must as well |

| | See I think that's where my problem is. I need to start incorporating weights into it. I was meaning to purchase some ankle weights, and I do have dumbells that I use every now and when when doing cruches, but for some reason I don't feel much of a burn. I could be doing them all wrong. |

| One word: Hanging Leg-raises. Well I guess that's three words. Anyway, I was getting bored with my old routine, and added them in at the start and end of every other work. No matter what. I've seem some great results with them.
Oh and welcome Karen. _________________ Anything not worth doing is worth not doing well. Think about it.
